Course Description: Fire Warden Training course will equip your personnel with the skills required to act as a fire warden during an emergency. During the fire warden training course we will cover the duties of fire wardens during emergencies such as: Fires, Bomb threats, Chemical Incidents, Armed Holdups and many more. Fire warden training is only conducted by experience emergency services personnel.

Objectives: This unit has been developed to cover the broad range of emergencies and workplaces as considered in Australian Standard 3745-2010. This unit covers the competency required to implement the emergency response specified in the workplace emergency procedures or specified by a person at a higher level in the emergency control organisation. People who undertake this work will be working within the command, control and coordinate structure of the emergency control organisation.

Training is practically oriented to ensure particpants gain hands-on fire warden evacuation experience and utilise your on-site or training venues fire and emergency systems including the conduct of building evacuation drills.

Assessment: Assessment will be performed progressively throughout the course using demonstrations of practical skills, scenario’s and short answer theory questions.
