Building a Career Beyond Statutory Services

At LifeAid, we believe paramedics and emergency clinicians deserve diverse, meaningful career options — not limited to the traditional ambulance services. Our work spans remote medical coverage, fireline health support, industrial shutdowns, and major events, giving our team opportunities to apply their clinical expertise in challenging, highly skilled environments.

Whether your background is fire and rescue, intensive care, nursing, or frontline paramedicine, LifeAid provides a professional setting where your skills are valued, supported, and expanded. Many of our clinicians build long-term careers that combine fireground response, on-site medical governance, and training leadership.

Current Opportunities

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and aspiring professionals across Australia, including:

  • Registered Paramedics (ALS and Intensive Care)

  • First Responders and ERT-qualified personnel

  • Fireline Medics and Fire Rescue specialists

  • Nurses, Patient Transport Officers, and Emergency Technicians

LifeAid’s multidisciplinary operations include work within construction, mining, remote health, government and defence projects, and major event support.

LifeAid actively engages with paramedicine and health science programs at Australian universities. Final-year students and recent graduates with strong clinical foundations and an interest in remote and fireground environments are encouraged to apply.

Career Pathways and Development

We’re committed to developing clinicians who thrive in complex, real-world environments. LifeAid offers structured career progression pathways, supported by clinical mentors and nationally recognised training programs. Our teams are encouraged to expand their expertise across disciplines — fire, rescue, and medical — creating a workforce defined by capability, adaptability, and care.

If you’re ready to work alongside experienced mentors and build a career that reflects your full skillset, we’d love to hear from you.
